Introduction of Paramedical –
Paramedical services are those services where proficients assist the doctors in specific areas and services for better treatment, diagnosis and therapy. The rising demand of skilled Para-medical experts has opened up numerous career opportunities for young candidates in India as well as abroad. Without paramedics, the whole health care organization will come to rust and become almost non-functionary. Candidates/Students pursuing Biology (PCB), Physics, and Chemistry at 10 + 2 level generally aim at becoming a doctor. But only some of them give concentration to the paramedical field which includes professionals like pharmacists, medical laboratory technologist, nurses, physiotherapists, optometrist, speech therapist, etc. All these proficient support the doctor in treatment of the ever growing number of patients, afflicted with various diseases, making health care easy and effective.
It is a huge field. There are numerous courses accessible at degree, diploma and certificate level.

Eligibility
The candidate must have passed the 10+2, i.e. C.B.S.E. / I.S.C / Intermediate board examination or its equivalent, after a period of 12 years of study the last two years of such study, comprising of Chemistry, Physics, Biology / Biotechnology / Health Care Sciences Maths only for BASLP and English from a recognized Board.
